We provide questions covering all topics for the Neurology SCE. These are divided into 14 sections (see question bank). In addition, we provide a mock exam. This consists of two unique papers of 100 questions each, to be completed in 3 hours, just like in the real exam. However, if you do not want to be timed, you can choose to complete these papers at your own pace (select 'Untimed' mock papers). You can access either the question bank or the timed-mock paper, or both, depending on the membership plan you purchase.
You can save your progress at any point while answering the questions in any section of the question bank. However, the timed mock papers do not come with a 'save' button, as they are meant to be completed in one sitting. If you do not want to complete the mock papers in one sitting, choose the the 'untimed' mock papers which will allow you to save your progress.
Please be aware that your progress is saved using local storage. This means that your answers are saved on the browser of your device. We DO NOT store your answers. To retrieve your answers, you must ensure that you are on the same device and browser you previously used when you saved your progress.
Yes. The 'Resume Session' button allows you to continue where you left off, but once you've completed a section and submitted your answers, refresh the page and a 'Review Mode' buttion will appear. This will allow you to review your answers to any section of the question bank that you have previously completed. However, if you select 'Reset Questions', you will lose any previously saved answers in that section. Please be aware that your progress is saved using local storage. Once you've completed each mock paper, take a screenshot of the result message (see example) for each paper and email them to support@neurosce.com. You have to score 55% or above in each paper, and you are allowed multiple attempts. We will then issue your certificate for 6 CPD points.
Once you have completed a section and submitted all answers, you will see your score. Refresh the page, and it will take you back to the start. A 'Review Mode' button will appear. This will allow you to revisit all the questions with the answers you submitted, explanations, references, and peer analytics (if you are using the new version).
We are constantly improving our website. Each topic now comes with a new version, which gives you peer analytics and a cleaner user interface with easier navigation. Once more users answer the questions, the peer comparison bar charts will start appearing. You won't need to retake the questions. If you've previously submitted answers in a section using the newer version, over time you will see peer comparison analytics appear for each question when you use the Review Mode.
